A new reference tool for the local elected officials
FLACMA – the UCLG Latin American representation – has set up a (Virtual) Municipal Library. They did it to make available, in one site, studies, information, projects, etc. on and about municipalities. They devised it to have an easy time tracking down programs and discriminating useful things from those futile.
The Library is designed to allow those interested and implicated in municipal issues – local elected officials and technicians – to participate directly in its construction. FLACMA has looked for books, experiences, regulations, manuals and movies all covering the sphere of local government, of which we can all take advantage.
They have constructed the bookcase, but it will fall to all of us to fill it.
You are invited to visit the platform. We hoped that you do not show up with empty hands and instead incorporate your own or your institution’s documents into our Library.
The library is in several languages. You must first locate the language in which you are going to make the search. Then, you must open the document in the first folder called "Read this first", and carefully read the document before starting your researches.
