Dear colleagues,

First of all, we would like to thank you for your active participation in the CIB Working Group meeting, which was held in Barcelona at the invitation of the City Council and the Province of Barcelona on 28 and 29 June.

We invite you to send your comments or corrections to the CIB secretariat. All additional information related to the CIB Working Group can be found on the CIB website (www.cities-localgovernments.org/cib).

As discussed in the CIB meeting, it will be important to jointly reflect on the continuation of the Working Group. We would therefore be pleased if you could inform us about:

·         your suggestions of working group activities for the period 2011-2013 or to improve the output of the working group

·         possibilities of support from your organization for the continuation of the CIB Working Group in 2011

Please send your comments and input on these issues before September 15 to Mr. Peter Knip (peter.knip@vng.nl).

We would also like to remind you that we would welcome your comments on the Code of Conduct and the Survey on Aid Effectiveness to the CIB Secretariat before September 15.
